Norbert Angstenbergerborn on Jun 30, 1952 - died on May 4, 1992 at the age of 39. Buried in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in 11000 Montgomery Rd, Montgomery, OH.
We were both teenagers when we hitchhiked from North Woodstock, NH to Santa Fe, NM via Boulder and Denver. But somehow Norbert was older, as if he had been around this universe....well....longer. “Busted flat” in Santa Fe, the Bank of Mom and Dad delivered a searing lecture and wired us $25 for the trip back to Cincy.
My memories with Norbert on the road are burned into my life forever.
